Cookies and Related Technology

Some bank website pages, like many other commercial websites, use a technology called “cookies” to provide you with tailored information from our website. A cookie is an element of data that a website can send to your browser. Your browser may then store this data on your personal device. Cookies help a website to “remember” you as a previous visitor and can enhance your use of the website by saving your preferences while you are at the site. Our cookies do not retrieve any data from your hard drive, carry any computer viruses, or capture your e-mail address. You can set your browser to notify you when you receive a cookie, giving you the opportunity to accept or reject it. Please note, rejecting a cookie may limit the functionality of the Bank’s website.

In order to measure the effectiveness of our online advertising, we may also use additional technologies such as pixel tags.

Links to Third-Party Websites

The Bank’s website pages will often provide links to third party websites or services, such as those of its business partners and social media sites, such as Facebook and LinkedIn. You should review their privacy policies in order to determine what personally identifiable information they will collect, why the information will be collected, and how they will use the information.  The Bank provides these links for your convenience, but does not endorse and is not responsible for the content, links, privacy policy, or security policy of the third party websites or services.

Information Sharing Practices

The Bank may share information with service providers as described in our separate privacy policy. For example, we may share information with data processors to facilitate your Internet Banking account transactions or with our joint marketing partners to market or present our products and services to you.

Safeguarding Your Information

The Bank strictly adheres to the following principles in handling the personally identifiable information you provide in connection with e-mail correspondence or a transaction:

  • The Bank maintains your information in secure computer systems and maintains security to prevent unauthorized access. It periodically updates and tests its computer systems in order to continue to ensure the protection of your privacy.
